Crockpot Chile Wagyu
Description
Hearty Chile that is sure to appeal to everyone as it has just enough zing to say HELLO but not enough to make those nonspicy folks uncomfortable.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Turn the crock pot on to low.
-
Combine your dry ingredients together or get your bbq rub measured out.
-
Coat cubed steak around in the seasoning mix or bbq rub until they are thoroughly coated.
-
Transfer browned steak to the crock pot.
-
Add all the onion, potato and canned ingredients to the crock pot.
-
Make sure you have enough liquid to cover the contents and if not, add beef stock (some people use beer but my wife
hates beer so I'm stuck with beef stock ;-)
-
Cover and cook for 8 hours and then add additional seasoning if needed and let simmer 1 hour and then taste again. Repeat until you are satisfied. 10 hours is not unusual until it is ready and if you let it go longer, you can't hurt it. Some do this overnight which ends up being 10-12 hours by the time it's all finished and that's ok.
