Description

Dark chocolate peanut butter banana bites are a tasty snack or dessert made by coating slices of banana in a mixture of peanut butter and dark chocolate

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced banana rounds in a mini muffin pan.

  1. Drop a small dollop of peanut butter onto each banana round.

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler

  1. Using a spoon or a pastry brush, coat each peanut butter-topped banana round with the melted chocolate.

  1. Optional: sprinkle the chopped nuts or sprinkles over the chocolate.

  1. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.

  1. Remove the bites from the freezer and serve immediately on top of a scoop of peanut butter and chocolate ice cream (Baskin Robbins is my favorite), or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Note

Great with coffee or dessert wine after dinner, but any time is really never a bad time for these tasty bites of chocolatey cold goodness!Ch
